The artwork centers on the biblical warning in Joshua 7: private disobedience brings public consequence. Achan’s secret greed is shown not as a distant moral failure, but as a hidden act within the ordinary space of family and camp. The buried treasure becomes a symbol of covetousness, deception, and the danger of keeping what God has commanded to be set apart.
